## Limits

- The per-second limit counts every request made with the account's key or session. Past it the API answers `429` with `Retry-After: 1`.
- Answers with a server error or rejected arguments (400) give their credits back; other answers count.
- Sign-in, account links and promo quotes are limited per IP address, MCP and the free tools to 120 requests a minute.
